The comprehensive report reveals that UWWC reached 5,698 individuals across Washington County through strategic partnerships with local non-profit organizations, achieving 95.3% of its ambitious fundraising goal through the support of 826 donors who contributed over $205,000. "This achievement represents more than the dollars raised; it represents hope delivered to over 5,600 individuals across our county," said Kim Dowdy, Board President. "From infants receiving critical early support to seniors accessing essential services, your United Way investment touched lives in every corner of Washington County." Strategic Allocation Addresses Critical NeedsFor the 2024-2025 period, UWWC allocated resources strategically: 37% for youth development, disaster prevention and senior services; 31% for education support programs including after-school tutoring and STEM education; and 32% for health and wellness initiatives covering mental health care and prescription assistance.
